Commercial Roofing Foreman

Requirements
- Must be able to read basic installation drawings and instructions
- Minimum of two (2) or more years’ experience in Commercial Roofing
- Working knowledge of commercial/industrial roofing procedures and safety
- Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills
- Experience with: EPDM, BUR, Foam, Acrylic, Shingles, TPO, PVC, Mod. Bit.
- A valid state driver’s license (in good standing)
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and climb up and down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet
- 18 years of age or older
- Able to work overtime and weekends, as needed
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
Responsibilities
- Responsible for a crew of 5 to 10 people
- Lead and train crew with field applications
- Work with field supervisor and communicate to customers and management
- Responsible for paperwork, timesheets and ensuring LaDuke Safety policies are being followed

LaDuke Roofing & Sheet Metal has an opening for an experienced Roofing Estimator/Project Manager
Summary
Commercial/ Industrial Low Slope Roofing Estimator wanted - Full Time
Job Responsibilities
- Log in jobs and maintain statistical information
- Prepare take-offs on plans for bidding (utilizing the Edge software program)
- Main focus will be on low slope commercial & industrial projects
- Knowledge of various low slope roofing systems: e.g. TPO, PVC, BUR, EPDM, etc.
- If job is awarded verify price and verify scope of the job
- Interface with outside salespeople on related issues
- Inerface with operations (field) personnel on related issues
- Submit Complete Bid Package to Customer by Deadline
- Upkeep of designated Bidding Software
- Timely support to Operations Staff regarding all measuring and scope of work issues
- Create complete and accurate Bid File to turn over to Division Operations Team
Skills/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, College degree, and experience is a plus.
- Ability to read architectural blue prints is a must
- Ability to read and comprehend bid specifications and contract documents is a must
- Ability to craft bid proposals that are coherent and easy to understand. Analytical skills- Must have the ability to solve complex inputs
- Good oral & written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one meetings with customers and to employees of the organization as needed.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral & or diagram form & deal with problems in a creative manner. Must be a problem solver.
- Experience in working with Micosoft environment is a must.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision- must be a self-starter. Accurate with attention to detail.
